Youw8 is a concept that has been commercialized by Inotive Solutions BV in Nuenen, the Netherlands. This company was founded in August 2007 by three former Philips employees. The target of Inotive Solutions BV is to market a total concept about "Connected Wellness". The Youw8 platform, with an initial focus on weight management and overweight is the first implementation of this projects.

Inotive Solutions BV has it's office in the old Postoffice in the center of Nuenen (close to Eindhoven).

Jeroen Nugteren (Founder & Operations) has over 13 years experience in the high tech industry. Through Ericsson, Berenschot and DSM Jeroen started working at Philips, where he was responsible for operations of wireless products within Connectivity Solutions. Jeroen graduated with an MBA degree from the University of Derby and has a Bachelor’s Degree  in Supply Chain Management.

Erik Ekkel (Founder & Business Development) has worked for Philips for over 20 years in various functions. He started as a software engineer in the Philips Information Systems division. Following this he worked in a more commercial function through CD-i, DVD and a 5-year stay for Philips Digital Networks & Components in California. In his last function at Philips he was responsible for business development for Connectivity Solutions. Erik graduated from the HIO (Higher Technical Education - Software Engineering) in Enschede and also studied business administration at Arnhem Business School.

Claire de Wit (Sales Director) spent over 4 years as account manager with Dyson. During this career, she has been involved with offering advice and support to the retail network in the south of Holland. She supports the management of a limited number of key accounts and executing different account strategies. Claire holds a Master’s Degree in Strategic Management from the University of Tilburg and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Avans Hogeschool Breda.
